WHAT A SCAN CANNOT TELL YOU
A scan reads what the car's computers have recorded. It cannot see rust under a sill, a repainted quarter panel, a tyre worn on its inner edge, or a clutch about to go. A fault code narrows a problem down to a system, not to a part — anyone quoting you for a specific component off a code alone is guessing with your money.
Diagnostic functions vary by vehicle make, model and year. Whatever we could not read on your car, the report says so.
BUYING A USED CAR?
A scan is one part of it. Before you hand over R100,000 to someone you have never met, we can inspect the whole car — body, rust, tyres, brakes, suspension, leaks, service history and a full road test, with the diagnostic scan included and a written report the same day ending in buy it, buy it with conditions, or walk away.
